Q: When is your calendar updated? 

A: We strive to have approximately 4-6 weeks of calendar offerings posted at any given time, so please check back weekly. 

Q: What are the prices for an artventure? 
A: Prices are displayed on the calendar and vary based on day, time, and painting to be completed. Private event pricing is reflected in the "Private Parties" tab.
 

Q: How long is an artventure? 
A: Events are generally 2 - 3 hours, depending on the offering. Times are stated on the calendar. Please arrive approximately 10-15 minutes prior to the start of your event to get your apron and get settled in. Please be on time and plan to be in attendance for the full duration of the event. 

Q: What will we paint? 

A: Every artist will paint the masterpiece shown in the calendar for that session, but you make take artistic liberties to make it your own! 

Q:  What is the difference between Spirited Strokes, Not as Simple Strokes, and Simple Strokes offerings?

A:  Spirited Strokes offerings are for painters 18 years of age and older when wine is present and 15 and older for sessions without wine. Each artist paints a 16"x20" canvas. Each artist paints a 16"x20" canvas. Simple Strokes and Not as Simple Strokes offerings are painted on an 11"x14" canvas. Simple Strokes offerings are appropriate for children's developing fine motor skills and families looking for an activity together. Not as Simple Strokes offerings are for more advanced young painters. 

Q: Do I need prior painting experience and skill? 

A: There is absolutely no experience necessary to create a gorgeous masterpiece!

Q: Is this a serious art class?  

A:  artventureus!™ social painting™ is seriously fun but not intended to be academic. It's an experience that allows everyone to express their inner artist and tap into creativity they never knew they had. More experienced artists will enjoy the social aspects and the ability to paint in a loose and relaxed environment, surrounded by friends. 

Q: Is there reserved seating? 

A: Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your event to choose your seat.

Q: Will I complete this painting in the allotted time? 

A: Yes, all artventureUs! paintings are created to be completed in the allocated event time frames. If for some reason you are unable to complete your painting in the allotted time, please make arrangements with your instructor to come back to finish.

Q: Will I be able to take my painting home with me after the event, and will it be dry?

A: Yes, acrylic paint dries very quickly and will be ready to take home at the end of the event. If necessary, hair dryers will be provided to help. 

Q: What should I wear? 

A: ArtventureUs! will supply aprons, but bear in mind that you could get paint on yourself. Dress comfortably and not in your Sunday best. We will be using acrylic paints, which do not generally wash out. ArtventureUs! will provide artist soap, which will get many stains out, but will not always fully remove a stain from acrylic paints. 

Q: Do I have to pre-register?

A: Pre-registration is strongly encouraged due to space limitations. Walk-ins will be permitted if space is available on a first come, first served basis. 
 

Q: Is it safe to register online? 

A: Online payment via credit card is fast, secure, and easy. We use 128-bit SSL encryption via PayPal and Chase Paymentech. 

Q: Do you share my information with third parties? 

A: Never! The information you provide in your registration is used solely by artventureUs! We only use your email to send you reminders, promotions, and news about artventureUs! activities. 

Q: What is your cancellation policy? 

A: artventureUs! requires 24 hours notice to cancel a registration in order to obtain a refund. If cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours until the event, individuals will be issued vouchers for a future artventure. artventureUs! reserves the right to cancel an event if there are fewer than 8 registered guests. If you register for a session and fail to notify us of cancellation, you risk forfeiting your payment.

Q: Can I book a private party? 

A: Yes! artventureUs! offers private parties. Please see the "Private Parties" section of our site for more information. Contact us for availability. Upon booking the party you will choose the one painting which will be created by all individuals in your group. If a painting is not chosen at least 24 hours prior to the event, the instructor reserves the right to choose a painting appropriate for your group.

Q: Will artventureUs! bring the party to me? 

A: If you have more guests than our studio can accommodate, artventureUs! can bring the party to you. Please contact us about parties at your venue for specific details and pricing. There is a 50% deposit required at the time of booking.

Q: Does artventureUs! offer parties for large groups and corporate team building activities?

A: Yes. artventureUs! is the perfect solution for your next corporate event, reunion or any social gathering! Please contact us for more details and pricing. 

Q: Do you do fundraisers? 

A: Yes. We offer spirit nights at local schools and churches and other organizations, where we give a portion of the proceeds to the sponsoring institution. Please contact us for more information.
